Weow

I know I know, I was supposed to write an article about FruityLoops, well I didn't find the time.

Anyway, I have a crapload of viewer content to get through, so tomorrow I'm going to write that FL article and then after that publish some content.

As for today, I have a ridiculous track to share. I know nothing about this artist, only that this song is amazing. I wish I could give you some background, but I really can't. The songs pretty much techno, but starts out a little DnB. Who cares though, the song is good.

BOINK!

For those of you who play TF2, you understand the term BOINK! is quite popular. Anyway, I recently watched a sniping video and the song playing in the background was Teknopatia, a track I have posted in the past. Anyway, a friend challenged me to recreate that song using BOINK! so I tried. So in 10 minutes, using FruityLoops Studio 8.0 and my Alesis Micron as a MIDI controller, I had a skeletal version of Teknopatia using boinks. Another day, I will add drums and echo effects and what not, but this is what I have now. Enjoy.

Catchie

So my buddy James sent me this song, by the artist Forseco.

I don't know much about it, but it's so phenomenally catchy. I don't know what it is, but I like it. Anyways, I'm going to be in PA tomorrow so I'll be back thursday.

Rubik's Cubes!!!!

Boys and girls, I'm a geek, and you should know this by now.

And what kind of geek would I be without being able to solve a Rubik's Cube? This puzzle was created in 1979 by some German Guy (Russian?) and it has frustrated millions. However, all it takes is some quick thinking and few patterns to solve this badboy.

Now, I'm not going to teach you how to solve a Rubik's Cube. If you want to do that, go to youtube. I am merely hear today asking if any of my viewers can do it and how fast they can. Now, many critics say, "Oh you just follow a few magic patterns and you can solve it, it's easy." And to those I say, "shut the hell up." Yes, yes it is true that just a few patterns will yeild a solved cube...in about 10-15 minutes. If you want to be talented, you truly need to think and move your hands fast to get to something below 3:00.

My personal record is 1:36.4, and it's only been about 3 weeks since I started solving the cube. In fact, the time I just told you was recorded about an hour ago. Since I'm still improving, I can solve faster and faster. However, in a few more records, it will be near impossible to solve any faster. To do so, requires even harder thinking.

So anyway, comment on this article, exclaiming your views, your times, your age, anyting.

Trancish?

Well, I finally found a song that was trancey, but didn't suck.

For some reason, this song fells so disco-french-house, but it isn't. It also has the trancey feel. I really don't know how to categorize this song, so I'll just call it amazing.

I've had this track stored for a while as one of my "big guns," the tracks that are just so good that I save em and release them every once in a while. I've posted about two of these. Anyway, this track is the 8th remix in a row that I am posting, and I apologize. But this song is just so good. It's by the Italian (WTF NOT FRENCH?!?!?!) artist LeBatman. The original song is Fat Love by Worship. If you guys follow alexdaftpunk91 on youtube, you'll notice she posted this track today, and that's what reminded me of it. Unfortunately, the youtube quality blows, so I have a high bitrate mp3 on the site. Enjoy.

Body Crash!!!!!

Well I've been obsessed with MSTRKRFT lately, so I've been doing some research...

Anyway, today's track is yet another remix. I like it alot, and I'm not sure why I neglected to post it.

The song is Body Crash by Buy Now and it is a remix by JFK, the better half of MSTRKRFT. Just by listening to the track, you can make out the beats and styling used in many MSTRKFRT tracks. So here it is, one of the greatest techno-electro songs I own. The quality seems poor, but that's just the song.

Buy Now - Body Crash (JFK Edit) [right click to download]

Enjoy!

EDIT: On my browser, the quality is pretty poor and the song seems to die in and die out alot. I've replaced the track multiple times to no improvement. I may've hit a bandwith limit. Haha. If you want, just download the mp3 and you'll be set.

Yo

Hey y'all, just letting you know I'm not dead.

The blog isn't over, I'm just going to be away, I should be posting in the next few days. Keep checking back for updates!

Wednesday Special

Yeah I know I haven't done it in two weeks, but I got a theme goin on!

Chillax and listen to Remix Whores Cinq!!

Remix Whores [Cinq]

Well, to close off Remix Whores and to apologize, I'm posting three tracks.

The first tracks is from Ed Red Vol. 3 or Busy P's Pedrophilia. This is not a remix but just a song. The next two tracks are remixes, but I feel you should hear the original before listening to the remixes. So anyway, here it is. Warning: Turn down your volume if you have parents nearby.

Busy P - To Protect And Entertain [right click to download]

The first remix is courtesy of So Me. The reason this remix is badass because it's very So Me and uses Street Fighter sounds :-D. Also, it has an amazing name.

Busy P - To Protect And Entertain (So Me Get Naked Remix) [right click to download]

Finally the last remix comes from The Crookers. It's here because it's quite good.

I decided I'll post another remix tomorrow that I forgot about. It's semi-mainstream (Remix of a Busy P track), so try not to be disappointed. I just feel it's an amazing remix.

That is all

Remix Whores [Quatre]

Today I am going to show you the best remix ever made in the history of the universe.

Not to steal his credit or anything, but the original song was so fanstically good, that a remix of it is already flawless. So to sign off "Remix Whores," I present you with a track I've been dying to post.

Jordan Scales - Ravage (Boba Fettuccini's Ravaged Lands RMX) [right click to download]

Note: I am going to post many remixes in the future, so don't think just because Remix Whores is over that the remixes are also over. My fifth remix track was going to be Miss Your Tape by The Phantom's Revenge, but I already posted that :-(

Also, if you want, feel free to remix Ravage and send it to me. It will make me super duper happy.

Remix Whores [Trois]

Today's remix is one most of you have already heard, since many of my viewers come from thedaftclub.com. Even with its popular, this remix is simply spectacular.

From the mind of Para One, he has taken Prime Time of Your Life and chopped it into a true masterpiece. I hope you enjoy the track if you are yet to hear it. Sorry if you are disappointed. On the brightside, this is an uber-high quality track so you may want to add it to your collection even if you already own it.

Remix Whores [Deux]

I apologize for my absence. Anyway, I have a new track for you today, another badass remix.

Now this isn't my favorite all-time remix, but it is the ballsiest remix in my collection. It comes from the mind of Sebastian Akchoté aka SebastiAn. It is a remix of a long-loved classic rock song. So praise him for a tremendously good remix, and for having the courage to remix The Who.

I hope alot of you have yet to hear this song, mostly only big Ed Banger fans like myself know of it. PS SebastiAn was in NYC on the 30th for a concert with So_Me, Busy P, and Justice. I didn't get tickets and I kick myself for not doing so. If you went to it, tell me and I'll kill you.

Well, in case you haven't noticed, I recently added an ad in Persona Space for free domain names. Basically, I got a free domain name. It's not .com or .net, but .co.nr.

For you classic folk, ilictronix.blogspot.com will still work perfectly, but now, you can access the same site from http://ilictronix.co.nr. It's basically a redirect to the same site.

So anyway, add ilictronix.co.nr to your favorites now!

Quick Note

Don't forget about the logo contest!!!!

Please send me some logos you've created so I can kick off the vote.

Remix Whores [Un]

Today's track marks the start of my next theme, Remix Whores.

What this theme contains is what I feel are the best remixes I own. I must admit, they are rather popular (most of them). So don't consider this is a discovery theme. I hope to post at least four remixes in no particular order, from different artists. I hope the newbs out there are enlightened by this theme.

Anyway, to kick things off is our good French pals Justice. I've posted 2 remixes by them already, 1 successful and 1 not, so I hope this gets your attention. It is a remix of Franz Ferdinand's "The Fallen" and it is great. I was disappointed by the Daft Punk edit of Take Me Out, but this FF remix really put me in a good place haha. So enjoy and comment!!!
