Da da da life

Hi there, it's been a while, but I'm back.

Today I have some swedish goodies for all of you, from a duo called Dada Life (Olle Corneer and Stephan Engblom).

Let's start with a commercial song, The Great Fashionista Swindle, remixed by Laidback Luke. It's an ideal partytune, and that's what Dada Life's about according to me. Making some good, danceable tunes. But let's move on ...

... to song number two, no remix this time, but one of their newer songs. Now you can finally hear what Dada Life has to offer: a nice intro that builds up slowly, a first explosion, and some nice vocals to top it off. The rest of the song only makes the song feel more complete. What can I say, I like it.

And I saved the best for last. It starts of with a nice calm intro... but then, when the distortion build, the snares are revealed. I will never get tired hearing those divine tunes, they give me chills.

I hope you noticed the distinct style Dada Life puts into their tracks. A fine balance between calm and heavy periods throughout the song, the distinct high pitch snares with some distortion, lot's of rhytm and lot's of fun. You might hear them again in this blog :p

Enjoy, Mr. Brown
