I apologize ahead of time for the mismatched qualities - the three songs on this EP are in 128 and 192 kbps :( and I am truly sorry for that, but let's move on.
To kick things off, let's talk about the original mix. This song is so goddamn funky, it is one of the very few tracks in my collection that forces me to turn on "Repeat." Quite a feat, actually. It has a funky guitar riff, some background strings to keep things disco-y. The vocals are pretty good, and the falsetto during the chorus is just mindblowing (it sounds like "September to Remember," which may add to the goodness of the tune). I'll let you be the judge. Don't let the low quality throw you off.

Next is the Shortlife Mix. Basically, it's a compressed version of the original. It's pure riffs, no "bullshit" in between (who said we hated that bullshit anyway :) it adds for a nice build-up). There isn't much to say, it's just shorter.

Finally, let's end things with Play Paul - the mastermind who brought you Holy Ghostz, Spaced Out, and Spaced Out 2 (among other things - those are just my favorites). This remix is pretty nice, but I personally like the original much much better. But hey, if you like remixes, maybe you'll get a kick out of this. The opening is pretty boring, but things start to get interesting about a third of the way in. By about halfway, the remix actually sounds "good." What disappoints me is that the falsetto blast in the chorus is absent (WHY PLAY PAUL....WHY!!!). Sorry but I'll stick to the original.

Enjoy, and be sure to stay tuned for some kickass French House posts in the near future, including more We Rock Music.

'YES! This, the now that the love has gone and the beautiful/warning ep are some of the best songs ever ♥'
It's a shame the original has that skip in it or I'd have downloaded it. Oh well, Shortlife it is then...
I've been in love with this song since I heard it on My House in Monmartre. HOUSE MUSIC!
I know, Joe :(... I'll try and find a better version of it
If anyone actually has this on vinyl, then they could maybe upload a verison without a skip.
