Anywho, I recently got some incredible french house discogs that will last years on the blog. So stay tuned, because I have some digustingly good French House posts coming up soon. To kick things off, let's take a trip back to 2000. A time when everyone thought computers were going to kill us, Britney Spears was on top (and sometimes the bottom bitch), BIlly May- *cries*
Sorry, let's talk about music. 2000 was a phenomenal year for French House...basically. To prove it, here are some funky tracks for you to enjoy. Here's some info on the EP...
Label: Vegas Tracks
Catalog#: Vegas 001
Format: Vinyl, 12", 45 RPM
Style: House, Disco
Don't let the detailed album artwork startle you, these tracks are pretty simple tunes. Today I will show you some fantastic music courtesy of Vegas Tracks. If you've never heard of that label, it's acceptable, but you may've heard Kristof R. on ilictronix before...but those tracks have sadly faded away with our fileden accounts.
The first track is so funky, so catchy, and sounds very similar to The Peach EP, or at least that's what I got out of it. It's repetitive, it's filtered, it's French House.
Roy Rogers - Falling in Love [right click to download]
The next tune is so good because it constantly builds up from the get-go, if you get confused...no they are no the same song. Bascially, this next tune should be called Falling In Love (Roy Rogers Remix).

So there you have it... [VEGAS 001] Pantone 814C. It's funky - the funkiest Vegas Tracks release in my opinion, but I'm going to end up postign volumes two, three, and four as well...to give you a broad view of the label.
Fallin in Love,
