Before the day slips away, here are two tracks and a remix from Perth's brightest young hope Shazam.

Blending disco, house, synthpop and electro, Shazam's sound has earned him a spot on the Bang Gang 12"s label and a place in Digitalism's Kitsuné Tabloid mix. His debut EP "Pool Party" features 3 original tracks with a remix of each. "Pool Party 2008" is an electro house stomper reminiscent of Boys Noize or Surkin, while "Pool Party 2009" is a more laid-back, 80s-inspired Braxe & Falke style jam.

Onto the remix. Shazam's version of Muscles' "Sweaty" is where his electro side really begins to show. But that doesn't make it any less funky. Featuring vocals from Reija Thomas, this track is sure to have any dancefloor jumping.
