The first time I heard Shakira's "She Wolf", I came to the conclusion that it was the first thing I'd heard in that charts for ages that I actually liked. In fact, I was so impressed by the track that it caused me to exclaim, in a public place, "PROPAH DISCO VIBES AND TING!", before collapsing back in on myself in a familiar shower of embarrassment and self-loathing. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that I fucking love Shakira (Baby got back!).
So imagine my excitement when a free download link from Leeds' latest export Ghosts Of Venice, for his own remix of "She Wolf", popped up on my Twitterfon today. GOV, who also produces as one half of cut-up electro duo Youth Attack!, has given the track the filter-disco version it was just crying out for.

I was actually trying to play it from the schools network. It wouldn't play because it had the word "Zelda" in the title. Its working fine from my home computer. Not a bad medley.

I know the name of this blog is "ilictronix" i have never found Prez posting much electro. The main type of music in my eyes has been great house, regardless of origin or stemming sound. But with a nice lean onto the french touch/ sampled and funky house... what has happened to that the last month?
