Oh no Prez, he says the average age was 22. He's talking about a specific person when he says "in Vietnam, he was only 19" because it's from a documentary where they were interviewing specific people.
Oh whoops.
I only knwo that because I have seen parts of the documentary it's from.
However, the female vocals later in the track do declare that the average was 19. So it's mixed.
