To continue this house trend...

Since I have been so instructed to by Boba, have some delicious house.

Mike 303 - Wonder Girls [right click to download]

As requested. Mike 303 isn't my favorite producer in the world (Superfunk is *soooo* much better IMO) but this track is definitely a classic and I love it. Mike's smooth production, Phyllis Hyman's "You Know How To Love Me" and a First Choice acapella makes a track that is simply to die for. Or, rather, to dance for?

The Private - My Secret Lover (Lifelike Remix) [right click to download]

Now this is some house. The Private's 2007 single "My Secret Lover" is a snoozefest of pop vocals and a horribly-integrated Chemise sample, but Lifelike (quite appropriately) funks it up. I could listen to this for hours - and I have been. The lyrics are extremely viral - I know most of the lyrics already and I only discovered this track three days ago. Overall it's a fantastic effort by Lifelike and makes me wish he did more remixes (or more anything, for that matter).

Since this is a bit of a cop-out post, here's a super-rare and (most probably) exclusive house track for you:

Wackside - Turtle Funk [right click to download]

Dropped by Daft Punk in their 1999 Miami set and then never again anywhere else ever, this rare-as-funk house track brings the groove and how. With a plethora of acapellas and some seriously bombtastic synth stabs, it's a surprise this one hasn't been more popular. Though Wackside is largely unremembered today, he (they?) sure know how to craft a track that will make a dancefloor explode.
This track is 100% exclusive to ilictronix as far as I can tell, so enjoy. :D

I'm undercover,
-your secret lover (Wulf)

I just watched the original version of 'Secret Lover'. That guy is like an out of work Michael Jackson impersonator who decided to start writing his own material. Urgh.

Jesus guys, this is by far my favourite blog! All these diamond tracks! Keep up the good work.

Btw, that track by Mike 303 is featured on a cd I have called Funkadelicious 3, there are a lot of good filterhouse tracks on there that would fit on here!
