Exclusive!

The Phantom's Revenge never ceases to impress me. Every single release is so pleasing to my ears, it situates him as one of my favorite artists of all time. His latest track, which is, unfortunately, unsigned, is no exception to this trend. Very rarely do my posts include one track, and when they do, you know it's something I consider...pretty damn good.

So with that, enjoy! And be sure to spread this baby around, I got permission to do so this afternoon :)

Enjoy, and please don't forget to support the artists you love!

Also, check out TPR on MySpace Music and Twitter today. Comments are appreciate too, you know.

Reminds me of a more frentic version of "I Think I Like It" - a lot more frentic.
Well you can't deny that it's classic TPR style, really heavy chopping of samples. Personally I thought he gave the chop a bit too heavily at times but overall it's not bad. If I was trying to get a friend into french house though, probably wouldn't play them this song first haha.

Ah TPR... this guy must be the featured artist of may !

A You can listen to a good song all the way through without being absolutely disgusted, Prez. SImple as that. TPR needs to quit chopping vocal sample so much. It works just fine with instruments (see Pierce - Miss Your Tape remix) but this is simply BAD and over the top.

His best work is still his Fenech Soler remix.

I'm fond of TPR, but I think this track is just a little too... spastic. It doesn't really go anywhere, it just noodles around with chopping.

Bleh i dont like this at all. The vocal chopping is major overkill and the beats are ok at best. Sorry but i cant like this at all.

Normally a huge Phantom fan, but I'm really not feeling this one. Might grow on me with time.

i really wonder why you all focus so much on the chop, this track could kill any dancefloor, mr fettuccini you are completely out of the point and maybe jealous

Boba Fettuccini said...

Maybe because the chop is all there is? His songs are nothing but a basic sample chopped up. Without the chop, it's just a loop. That's what makes his production so unique and distinct.

And not 'in denial', I can honestly say I'm not jealous. I simply don't like it. Next time to you go accusing someone of something like that, have the balls to post with a name instead of going Anonymous.

lilerniegroove said...

I got da balls to post w/my name & dood I'm telling u this cuts ill! Boba I'd understand why some1 would take it as u being jealous ur making da criticism a little too personal from ur 1st post & it shouldn't be personal criticism, but rather constructive! I think if u got skills as a dj this cuts gonna kill dancefloors if u know how to use it str8 up...

Boba Fettuccini said...

maybe for some audiences. stuff like this is underground for a reason, it's really an acquired taste.

lilerniegroove said...

exactly I agree w/you for each there own & I know this cuts gonna be a cut that can be loved by many or hated by many dats da beauty of music! We all have da rite 2 dig or hate something...rspx
