The first track comes from Parisian Duo "Poney Poney." This track starts off fairly simple, catchy right away. Then, it develops into a synthesized pile of electro energy, (Vengeance Essential House, much?) The lyrics are pretty solid, but this song is about the rhythm, and boy does it have it. Be sure to check out the music video while you're at it.

To go along with that, let's talk about Poney Poney's new name, Jamaica. The blogosphere's circlejerk surrounding this group had pretty much settled, but I Like U 2 is only starting to scratch the surface of mainstream, appearing in the new Volkswagen commercial. It's more modern and polished than Cross the Fader, as is the music video.

What can be better than the sweet sensual sounds of an electric guitar, combined with the borderline insanity that is Para One? Nothing, that's what. I've posted this track before, but I think I should resurface it now that I have a larger audience.
To be honest, this track doesn't contain much madness - it has more of a structured feel that I wouldn't have expected from Para One. Of course, that's a pretty damn relative statement: the guitar is still chopped up, but it's more beautiful than mad.
