Did I hear exclusives and Daft Punk?

Hey there,

Today will be an awesome day, because I can give away some exclusives and post some songs I really dig all in one post...

Let's start off by saying Poka released a song on his soundcloud about two hours ago called Superhero. It's the usual Poka goodness and completely downloadable...
So here's the link to his soundcloud (download it from there and support Poka, that's why I disabled the download option on our player).

Poka - Superhero

Okay, so on to the Ilictronix exclusives: Ever since we featured Team Banzai as our artists of the month, I've been in touch with them and it's time I push out some more of their work for sure. Here are a couple of their latest remixes that were shamelessly kept undownloadable for us :P

A really chill remix of Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl:

Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl (TEAM BANZAI Edit) [click to download]

A very dark redux of Shout by Tears For Fears:

A remake of their Gangsta's Paradise remix with the acepella from Weird Al's parody:

These tracks are all Ilictronix exclusives. So remember folks, if you find it anywhere else it was shamelessly stolen and you should totally congratulate the culprit because music like this should be spread as fast as it can.

And as a late new year's present, here's a megamix they did featuring over 100 songs mashed and mixed together in under an hour:

It features a nice mix of commercial and underground, funky and hippidy hop, loud and chill... It's definately worth a listen! Don't mind the small pauses in between some parts, it's just souncloud screwing up a little.

Ok, time for some normal tracks I discovered lately. People are always complaining we don't post enough female artsists or they are annoyed we don't have a female writer in our team... (cough cough, I kinda want one, please apply... But don't ask money for it like some of you did, kinda sets back feminism and promotes prostitution, just saying).
So here's an upbeat cheerfull track by my favourite french Yelle. The intro does remind me of Voodoo Ray A LOT by the way, must be those Cuban drums.

And last but not least, you know I always save up the best candy for the end...

Daft Punk - Derezzed (Pink Is Punk RETRON Mix) [click to download]

This Derezzed remix seriously blew my mind away after a couple of listens, because guys let's face it. Even though Derezzed is an amazing track to listen to for about a minute in the movie the tracks itselfs lacks some variety (I came to that conclusion playing it in a DJ set once and thought it was way too repetitive). But, thanks to Pink Is Punk we can all enjoy our favourite electro duo on dancefloors everywhere around the world from now on!

Enjoy, Mr. Brown
