Club Coeur

Hey.

It's been a while since we talked about German made French House right? Les Loups just released Club Cœur, their first LP.

While the number of French House / Nu Disco producers doubles every month and most of them release a lot of barely head bobbing tracks, Les Loups give us 10 refreshing and well produced tracks in this album that will make you feel like summertime is there already. They keep it simple but never get boring, each track is filled with good samples and funky basslines.

My picks : Perfect Situation, Must Be Love and Good Friends.

Sunday Morning

Alright, not the morning anymore, but still!

THE track I can't stop listening to right now, it's from Nhan Solo and uses the lyrics of Sunday Morning, very well done.

Xinobi's brand new remix for Jus' Bros. Still groovy as hell, strong bassline, good vocals, nothing to add.

LAGASTA · Jus' Bros. - The Truth (Xinobi Remix)

A band I love, Bag Raiders, got remixed by Cassian... steel drums and a charming flute, that's all it takes I guess!

Bag Raiders · Snake Charmer (Cassian Remix)

Let's keep this "exotic" sunday going, with Solo and his lovely drumlines!

Tracks and more tracks

Alright so, I'm still pretty busy and I don't have a lot of time to write so this post is simply a melting pot of tracks I've heard over the weekend and seemed good enought for your ears !

First, Xinobi. While listening to The Magician's Magic Tape 8 at a friends party where I DJ by clicking play on the first track on The Magician's soundcloud page (yeah, I'm that good) I heard a track, thinking "WHAT IS THIS ? ME GUSTA !".

The track happened to be Hawaii from his EP Best Of Me, and it's pretty weird that I never tried to find it before, because it is legendary.

XINOBI · Xinobi - Hawaii

Here are three other tracks from Xinobi that I hope you'll enjoy as much as I do.

Totally changing genre now. Oldschool Dubstep by Benga.

GetDarker · Benga - United Kingdom [Free Download]

No idea how I ended up listening to this, but I kinda liked it.

Something funkier from a nice french guy called Daze. Keep that name in mind my friends.

Back to basics with a Sinden edit

RWDmag · Draq E Freaker & Waka Flocka Flame- Cherryade (Sinden Edit)

And as a bonus, three tracks from The Phantom's Revenge's May chart.

Bosconi Records · Rondenion - Like A Child [BoscoEXV05 - Bosconi Extra Virgin]

X Gon' Give It To Ya

Got milk?

So in recent weeks, I've been REALLY into Xinobi (as well as his Portugese partner in crime Moulinex), so you can imagine my excitement when he uploaded a new version of my favourite Xinobi track "Diamonds And Rings" to his MySpace yesterday. This version is a vast improvement on the original, with a proper intro and clearer sound. If you don't find yourself jumping around the room and screaming "You should DIAL MY NUMBER!" then something is wrong with you.

And, because I like to have an even number of tracks in a post.

Keep it funky,

Joe
